There are many ways to support community gardening and gardeners

Want to locate a P-Patch or apply for a plot? Click here to jump to that information.

Are you passionate about community gardening, or just curious? Want to find out more about getting on a waiting list for an available plot near your home, or about contributing your time and skills at the garden or community orchard in your neighborhood?

GROW warmly accepts volunteers to help make our projects and each P-Patch Garden a success!

To work in a P-Patch garden near you, help out with a food bank garden, or assist a handicapped gardener, contact p-patch.don@seattle.gov. Be sure to identify your neighborhood and include a description of what you would like to do.

Lettuce Link needs drivers to pick up and deliver produce donated by P-Patches and other growers to feeding kitchens, shelters and food banks. Contact Kathleen Penna at kathellen@solid-ground.org or call (206) 694-6754.

The annual Chef in the Garden event can use your marketing skills to help grow this annual event that benefits GROW. Contact info@GROWnorthwest.org, and please include a brief summary of your experience.

GROW is also looking for people with successful experience in applying for grants from private foundations. Contact info@GROWnorthwest.org or call 425 329-1601.

Interested in having a community garden in your neighborhood, to help address the shortage of established gardening space in Seattle? Contact info@GROWnorthwest.org to talk with someone experienced in the process.
