GROW receives $50,000 Donation from Amazon

GROW is excited to announce a much-needed $50,000 donation from Amazon furthering GROW’s commitment to building healthy and diverse communities through gardening.

The majority of these funds will go toward supporting low-income gardeners across Seattle’s 89 P-Patches with the rest of the funds to be used for new tools, micro-grants, and much more.

$10,000 for food assistance programs

$15,000 for plot fee assistance

GROW would like to thank Amazon for their continued support and commitment to preserving green space throughout Seattle. In December 2020, Amazon donated $270,000 to GROW to provide the last funds needed to purchase the Ballard P-Patch and officially save that community garden. Thank you, Amazon!
